Control your computer from WhatsApp: connect ands to your AI agent

Agents like LVLZ and Claude answer you on WhatsApp, iMessage or in a chat, but they run in the cloud and can’t see your computer. ands gives them hands: install ands on the computer, press “Connect an agent” and paste the link into your agent. From then on you can text your agent from your phone “pull the invoice from the bookkeeping app and send it to my accountant”, and it does it on your computer.

Two installs, one on each side

The agent lives in the cloud and the computer is with you. So you set up once on the computer you want to control, and once in the agent. No code, no settings.

On your computer

  1. Download andsInstall the app on the computer your agent should work on and give it Accessibility access. It takes half a minute.
  2. Press “Connect an agent”The app has one button. It makes a private link to this computer.
  3. Copy the linkPress “Copy”. The link is the key, so only give it to your own agent.
2

In your agent

  1. Paste the linkWherever your agent adds an MCP server or connects a new tool. Some agents let you just send them the link in a message.
  2. Ask for somethingTell your agent what to do on the computer. It sends the request to ands, and ands does it on the computer.

A guide for each agent

Works with any agent that can add an MCP server by URL. We checked these:

LVLZthe AI agent you message on WhatsAppRead the guide Claudean AI assistant in the app, on the web and on your phoneRead the guide
A different agent? If your agent lets you add an MCP server by URL (sometimes called a “custom connector”), it works with ands the same way: paste the link from the app. Not sure? Ask your agent “can I connect an MCP server to you by URL?”.

Your agent asks, you approve

Approve on the computer or from your phone

Every action your agent takes goes through the same check as yours. Reading goes through. Sending, paying, deleting, installing and signing in wait for your OK: on the computer’s screen or, when you’re away from it, through a link ands sends you via your agent that opens on your phone.

The agent can’t approve itself

Only you, signed in to your ands account, can press “Approve”. A phone that signed in only after the request was sent can’t approve it, so even an agent that reads your email can’t approve its own step.

The link is stored hashed

We keep only a fingerprint of the link, not the link itself. Pressing “Disconnect” cancels it at once.

Autopilot, if you want it

In autopilot ands doesn’t ask, it just does. You turn it on only in the app’s settings on the computer, never from the agent, and apps you marked “don’t touch” stay blocked.

Questions

Through the link, your cloud agent gets ands’s tools: see what’s on the screen, click, type and open apps. It sends a request, ands carries it out on your computer and sends back the result.

No. On the computer you press a button and copy a link. In the agent you paste it. That’s it.

No. Sending, paying, deleting, installing and signing in always wait for your OK, on the computer or through the link on your phone. If you don’t answer within 15 minutes, it doesn’t happen. The only exception is autopilot, which only you can turn on, on the computer.

ands works only while the computer is on and the app is open. When it’s off, your agent is told the computer isn’t available, and nothing happens.

Yes. Each press of “Connect an agent” makes a separate link, and you can disconnect each one on its own.

They can ask for actions but can’t approve them, and you see everything on screen. If a link leaks, press “Disconnect” and make a new one.
