How to fill in online forms with AI (and still click Submit yourself)

Long web forms, the same details every time. Let AI fill them from your files while you keep the final click.

October 31, 2026

Some forms you fill once. Others you fill every month: the same report, the same refund request, the same twelve fields copied from the same spreadsheet. That second kind is exactly the job for an AI agent.

What it looks like

Fill in October’s report on the tax site from the Excel file in my Reports folder, and stop before submitting.

ands opens the site in your browser, where you’re already signed in. It opens the Excel file, finds the totals, and types each one into the right field. When everything is filled, it stops and shows you the page. You check it and click Submit, or tell it what to fix.

Why on your computer, not in the cloud

Plenty of forms live on sites that are picky about who visits: government services, banks, university portals. A cloud agent arrives from a server in another country, often with no saved login, and gets blocked or asked for a password you’d rather not share.

ands runs on your machine, from your network, in your browser, with the logins you already use. To the site it looks like you, because it is you, with help. More on this in Local vs cloud AI agents.

The final click stays yours

A form that gets submitted can rarely be taken back. So in ands, submitting is always a sensitive step: pressing Enter in a form, clicking Send, Pay or Submit. Those wait for you every time, even inside a plan you already approved. The check that enforces this is plain code outside the AI, so nothing written on the page can talk it out of asking.

Tips for better results

  • Point to the source. "From the Excel in Reports" works better than "from my numbers".
  • Say where to stop. "Stop before submitting" makes the plan clear, even though ands would stop anyway.
  • Keep the receipt. Ask it to save the confirmation page or a PDF of it to a folder.
  • Watch the first time. After that, you’ll know what it does on that site.

Who uses this

Accountants filing the same reports for many clients (ands for accountants), small businesses ordering from supplier portals, students submitting forms to the university, and anyone who fills the same details into the same site every month.

No. Submitting, paying and sending are always sensitive in ands. It fills everything, stops before the final button and waits for your click.

Yes, because it runs on your computer. When the site asks for a code, ands asks you for it, and you type it in or read it out.
